PG Orientation Club
Objectives:
To conduct programmes and extra ordinary meetings for
- Personality development
- Creating awareness on employment opportunities and various avenues in higher studies
Highlights:
- The club conducted many meaningful and successful programmes for the past twenty years. Eminent speakers like Mr. M. S. Mohan, Associate Director of Economic planning and Research in Nehru Institute of technology, Dr. T. K. Chandrasekaran Director, Institute of Human Resource Management, Coimbatore were invited to deliver guest lectures.
- Placement officers of various institutions were invited to give guidelines about employment opportunities and how to be successful in a career.
- A beautiful album with all information about the employment opportunities was prepared by the P.G students.
- P.G students presented papers on various topics like Global warming, terrorism, Brain-Drain, Current burning issues which are highly relevant to the present day society.
- Group discussions, essay competitions and paper presentations were conducted periodically to improve the quality of education.
- Giving Guidance to apply various scholarships and fellowships.
- Display informations regarding new courses in various institutions and universities periodically.
