Aims of NCC
- To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship , discipline, leadership, secular outlook, Spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to them useful citizen.
- To create a human resource of organized trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and be always available for the service of the nation.
ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE YEAR 2010-2011
- 98 cadets were enrolled in NCC. Cadet under officer C.Karthika of III B.Com (e.com) and senior cadet under officer N.Uma Maheswari III BBM (CA) were unanimously selected as secretary and joint secretary of NCC.
- One of our cadet Sgt.D.Kalai selvi of II B.Sc. Advanced Zoology and Bio-Technology was selected to attend Thal Sainik Camp at New Delhi from 24.10.2010 to 4.11.2010.
- Sgt. M.Karthikeyani of II B.Com (CA) attended pre – RDC Camp at CRPF Training Centre, Trichy from 27.09.2010 to 5.10.2010.
- Cpl.S.Kirthika of II BCom(CA), and Cpl. A.Kohilamani II B.Com (CA) participated in the RDC, IGC Camp at Madras from 26.06.2010 to 05.10.2010.
- 3 of our cadets participated in the Trekking Camp at Hubadhalai from 05.05.2010 to 25.05.2010.
- 6 of our cadets participated in the CATC (cum) RDC Camp at Government Arts College at Coimbatore from 16.08.2010 to 25.08.2010.
- 3 of our cadets participated in TSC Selection Camp at Kandaswamy kandar College, Paramathivellur from 04.06.2010 to 13.06.2010.
- 2 of our cadets participated in Medical camp at Chennai from 01.08.2010 to 17.08.10
- 2 our cadet Sgt.A.Gnanapriya and Sgt. S.Kanmani attended NIC at Jabalpur from 24.11.2010 to 07.12.2010 and received all India best cadet award.
- 52 of our cadets attended the CATC Camp at Avinashilingam Engineering College at Varapalayam, Coimbatore from 25.11.2010 to 5.12.2010
