Note : Special Fee, Lab Fee and Other Fees subject to revision by the Government

Full Fee concession under E.V.R.Nagammai Memorial Women's Free Education up to degree level will be granted to all students admitted from 1989-90 onwards (irrespective of community to which they belong) provided the annual income of guardian does not exceed Rs.24,000/-.


  The following scholarships are available to the students.
  1. Government of India Scholarship
Students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are eligible for the award of the Scholarship.
  2. Backward Class Welfare State Scholarship
Students belonging to Backward / Most Backward Classes can apply for the award of the scholarship if the annual income of their parents does not exceed Rs.25,000/-.

  3. National Loan Scholarship
Those Students who have secured 50% and above in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent can apply for the award for the National Loan Scholarship. first preference will be given only to those who have secured 60% and above.

  4. Harijan Welfare Scholarship under State Scheme
Those Students who belong to A.D. converts are eligible to apply for the Harijan Welfare State Scholarship. The annual income of their parents should not exceed Rs.25,000/-.
  5. Scholarship to the Physically Handicapped Students
Prescribed form of application can be had from the director of Social Welfare, 485, Anna salai, Nandhanam, Chennai - 35 on requisition with self addressed envelope. The director will publish the notification in "The Hindu" every year.

  6. Scholarship for the children of Defence Personnel
Those students who are the Daughters of Defence Service Personnel can apply for Full Fee Concession. Application forms for Scholarships will be distributed to them soon after the applications are called for by the Director.
  7. Scholarships to the Children and Grand Children of Freedom Fighters
Those students who are the Daughters or Grand daughters of Freedom Fighters can apply for Full Fee Concession and forms of application for Scholarships will be distributed to them soon after the receipt of Director's orders calling for applications.

  8. Scholarships to the Children of Ex-Servicemen
Daughters of Ex-Servicemen studying in the College are requested to contact the D.S.S.A. Board office for the supply of application form and other details.
  9. Harijan Welfare Loan Scholarships
Those Scheduled caste students who are staying in recognized hostels can apply for the award of Harijan Welfare Loan Scholarship. They are requested to contact Director of Harijan and tribal welfare, Chennai - 5 for the necessary form of application.

  10. Students Aid Cell
The Cell renders financial assistance to pay examination fees, donates books free of cost and distributes sarees to the needy students.

  11. Kamaraj Endowment Scholarships 
Is awarded to students who have brilliant academic record.
