EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
Report for the year 2010-2011
The Extension activities for the year 2010-2011 were carried out with the theme "Health and Education". Fourteen departments of our college have adopted Panchayat union government middle schools in and around Udumalpet.
The following activities were carried out for the year 2010-2011 in the adopted schools.

- Health awarness programmes like Yoga, Meditation, Physical Fitness Cleanliness, Child labour, Health and Hygiene were carried out.
- Educational programmes like Teaching grammar, Basic Mathematics through Mathematical models, Experiments in science, Basic Knowledge about computers were carried out.
- Drop outs Women's lists were collected to give training programmes for self-employment.
In addition to that
- Library works was allotted to the hostel students for 30 hours.
- The day students were asked to take tuition in their neighborhood for the school children. Tests were conducted for them and the respective staff members maintained the record.
