STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN STATE LEVEL / NATIONAL LEVEL:
Year 2006:
- M. Kalaiarasi of I M.A History presented a paper on “Vellore Mutiny” and won a cash award in the seminar organized by Sri Vasavi College, Erode in connection with the 200 years of celebration of Vellore Mutiny.
- P.G students participated in the district level oratorical competition held at Government Arts College, Coimbatore and won prizes.
- U.G & P.G students participated and won prizes in competitions conducted by the department on August 15th.
Year 2007:
- P.G students participated and presented papers in the state level seminar on “Tourism in 20th Millenium” conducted by A.P.A College for Women, Palani on 17th February 2007.
- III & II U.G students enacted a drama on “Salt Satyagraha” in the Independence Day celebrations t our college on 15th August.
Year 2006:
- M.Phil scholars & P.G students presented papers in the one day state level seminar on various topics on “Streneous Struggle for Freedom”, conducted by A.P.A college for Women on 28th February, 2008.
- B. Samathani of II B.A History got the II prize in essay competition conducted by Palani Andavar Arts & Culture College for Men on “Role of Women in Tourism”.
- S. Radha of II B.A History participated in the State Level competition organized by Kamban Kazhagam and got a cash award of Rs. 2000/-
