The Department of Computer Science established in the year 1999 with the Vital demands of tomorrow, need to shape and mould the students with Information Technology knowledge, legitimately cultivated the spirit of service and far reaching imagination, to understand and apply the underlying principles of Computer Science to a variety of problem domains. The Department Upgraded as the Post Graduated department during the year 2005.
The main objective of the department is to provide application oriented knowledge which enriches to design and develop software systems, to analyze and evaluate the relative merits of software and algorithmic approaches; this helps the students easy to face the current technology world. The course is designed as the bridge to fulfill the gap between industries and education by incorporating the latest developments into the curriculum. The highlights of the department is to maintain high selectivity in our graduate programs by giving Internship training program and Project work to the students this will give the exposure in the field of Technology and how to face the current industry world.
The departments constantly incorporate innovations in the curriculum depending to ever-changing technology. This helps the students to update themselves with the recent trends in the industry. The vision of the course and its goal is “To develop IT professionals with ethical values” and also empower the students with technical, organization and management skills.
