About the department

• The spacious and well-equipped laboratories with LPG connections provide good facilities to the permitted strength of 50 students per class every year
• Experienced and devoted staff members render their utmost care and guidance for the welfare and progress of students.
• The rainwater harvesting tank with the capacity of 2,80,000 litres of water storage meets the laboratory requirements for the whole year.

Achievements and high lights

• A state level seminar sponsored by UGC was conducted on 'Consumerism'.
• By using 'water analysis kit', samples of water from different localities are being analyzed, as a part of our department extension activity.
